I arise in the morning
torn between a desire to improve the world
and a desire to enjoy the world.
This makes it hard to plan the day.

My question upon arising everyday:
My question upon arising everyday:
Shall I set out on the rose strewn path or caress the frosted rosebuds outside my cottage door?
This is not a view of my garden on this Saturday. Winter's cold fingers grip the neighborhood. The streets are quiet because everyone is still snuggled under the quilts. The image does seem fitting for E.B. White's quote. To paraphrase his words....." Shall I try to save the world today, or should I try to enjoy my little corner"? Choices to make...different paths to take...Winter dreaming! I hope this Happy Pink Saturday is just that for you! Strewn with the fragrance of idle time and a good book in your little corner. Oh, don't forget the coffee, hot tea, or, my fave HOT CHOCOLATE!

Such a pretty photo on this very cold day! Happy PS:@)
I'll sit with you under your arbor and dream. We'll take our hot chocolate and wrap ourselves with our quilts right from the bed, we can do this with this image in our head. We'll wear mittens and hats and boots maybe, but we're warm inside with hot cocoa and sumemr gypsy friends on this wintry day down in Alabam. Blessings Terri www.morningdewdrops.typepad.com
Lovely words and picture. Have a great Pink Saturday.
Ahhhh...I dream of a garden like this. :)
What a geat place this would be to walk and reflect on life..but I'll pass until summer is you don't mind...I'm staying under my warm blanket.
such a thought to ponder! I suppose it all depends on the day :-) and I suppose we could all remember that the roses need to hibernate so they can emerge that much more glorious in the spring right? So have a hot chocolate!
