A couple of week's ago frost was predicted for our area, but it was a "no show." I always like to take a peak at the 15 day weather forecast, especially now with Thanksgiving almost here! Looks like we're going to keep our 70 degree weather for a few more days, then cold weather will be knocking at the door next week with frosty temperatures. In anticipation of the first frost, I found this poem. Autumn's Indian Summer weather is holding on for dear life, but November will have the last word!
November
Now the autumn days are gone
Frost is sparkling on the lawn,
Windows winking cheerful lights
Warm the cold November nights.
