This evening I will be traveling back to my sleepy little hometown to attend my 40th..did I say 40th?...high school reunion. I am so looking forward to seeing everyone again and catching up on lives that have gone in so many directions around the globe. In honor of this auspicious celebration of high school memories, take a look at this barkcloth. I found it on EBAY! It is called High School Prom. Now, I'm vintage 1969! According to the description, this print has Hilltop High, 1961 in its design. The girls have on the beautiful pink formals, and the guys are all dressed up, too! I have given the fabric a new name--Pink PROMises! With music drifting in the background, I think all generations believe in the promises that their young dreams hold as girls and guys dance the night away at their Senior prom.

Your barkcloth is beautiful..aren't the dresses lovely? Ahhh, Senior Prom, when we were all young and could do anything we could imagine.
