I just visited the Better Homes and Gardens site. Oh, my! Lots of new decorating ideas for flea market hounds! These are just three of the ones that caught my eye.
Who wouldn't love the chippy, aqua shutter and yellow roses of remembrance? Lovely, shabby way to display summer pics and cards. With its casual style, it even feels like that time and space of just a few short weeks ago. Great spot to wish upon the starfish for the return of lazy days next year.
The vintage books are my favorite. Titles and illustrated covers will welcome a visit like an old friend when there's a chill in the air.
Finally, the artwork (paint by number would be awesome) and small table inspire creative thoughts and quick sketches. No need to rob the piggy bank! You can find the art for just a few dollars on ebay.
If we're willing to see past the traditional pumpkins, leaves, and scarecrows, new choices for the fall make a nest all new and unique! (Photos: Better Homes and Gardens)
