Sweet Easter Plates Bring Back Memories
Touch of Vintage with Ribbon and Ric Rac
It's Easter Eve! I'm thinking back to a pretty china plate that was blanketed with real clover.  No store bought basket for this country girl!  I picked the clover myself from the yard that was bursting with thrift and roses and hyacinths that my mother had lovingly planted.  I arranged a few carefully picked flowers around the edge of the plate, in hopes that the Easter bunny would deem it worthy to place a big chocolate replica of himself! He always did.  The dyed eggs were so magical.  The little wire egg holder in the Paas Easter dye kit was quite a gadget. Beautiful childhood days.

These pics which were shared on Pinterest remind me of the innocent days of childhood.   It didn't take much back then to make a memory that lasted a life time.  Simple plates with eggs be-ribboned and covered with ric-rac are tres chic!  I love the little bunnies on the grass on the gold rimmed plate.  Keeping it simple makes unforgettable memories.  P. S.  Thanks, Mom, for making each and every holiday so special in your own way!  Happy Easter to you and Daddy!

I'm sharing this post with Beverly, our hostess for Happy Pink Saturday, at How Sweet the Sound.  "Hop on over" to see more Easter posts today!
