Haiku My Heart

Blending peacefully
Collected thoughts and daydreams,
As the flakes fall down.
(Photo from Snuzzy Fun)

The ice man cometh yesterday, bringing traffic to a standstill.  As winter raps outside my door, I feel a kindred spirit with this little hedgehog.   He seems so content to just "be."

Welcome on this Friday morning!  Haiku brings out the warm fuzzies in me.  It offers a "slice of life" in so few words.

It's Haiku My Heart Friday hosted by recuerda mi corazon.  If you enjoy reading haiku or would like to share your own, click here! Thanks, Rebecca, for offering a weekly hearth to warm all haiku hearts!

Just Be. That is such a hard place to find, at times, yet at others, it is where i am and where I want to stay. Maybe in the next life I'll be a hedgehog. Soothing image and haiku today. thank you.

Peace.
