Haiku My Heart

Wrapped in dignity,
The fear and pain flee post haste
From all living things.

It's Haiku My Heart Friday hosted by recuerda mi corazon.  If you enjoy reading haiku or would like to share your own, click here! Thanks, Rebecca, for your weekly venue to connect all hearts!

Dignity.
Such a key concept and so often lacking in times of disaster.
You chose it well.

Thank you for thinking of these poor souls in Queensland. They have been enduring flooded conditions for quite some time. You words ring trua and tell a story of individuals and animals alike, living moment by moment.

Peace

May Compassion and Love protect them and may they walk away from this disaster whole, protected and complete. Thank you for posting this.

only in oz would a flood willingly save the joeys'... it is hard to imagine the vastness of the flood... from land to land tearing without discretion... i wonder how are the aborigines fairing in the wilderness of flooding waters??
