Dignity.
Such a key concept and so often lacking in times of disaster.
You chose it well.
Thank you for thinking of these poor souls in Queensland. They have been enduring flooded conditions for quite some time. You words ring trua and tell a story of individuals and animals alike, living moment by moment.

But then that's nature.. one wonders..
What a warm and secure feeling when there is dignity!! The picture tells it all.
dignity - so needed today and always. My thoughts and prayers to all.
it seems everyone...every where needs comfort and shelter. holding all of you in mine.
compelling haiku...speaking to us all.
May Compassion and Love protect them and may they walk away from this disaster whole, protected and complete. Thank you for posting this.

only in oz would a flood willingly save the joeys'... it is hard to imagine the vastness of the flood... from land to land tearing without discretion... i wonder how are the aborigines fairing in the wilderness of flooding waters??
