On Sunday afternoon, sleet and snow started to fall. It is Wednesday, and ice still covers the street. Quiet has prevailed over the last three days, and now cabin fever has begun. Glazed snow glistens outside the window. The temps are dipping to 12 degrees this evening. This Southern girl is so ready for the first robin. Yet, I know that we have many weeks of cold and lots of time for more snow and ice. Maybe, remembering that "Snowflakes are just kisses from heaven" will help quench Spring fever.
