Dreaming in Pink

An ice storm "breezed" into town last Sunday evening.  It brought 3 inches of snow along for company.  Now, here in Dixie, that means staying close to the fireplace and no venturing out on the roadways for several days because we don't have road clearing equipment!  After 5 days of too much of a good thing, is it any wonder that I'm thinking about Spring?  Yet, I know that Winter deserves her due, as well!  Light snow showers are predicted for late next week! 5 days is definitely getting boring, and the novelty of being house bound wears off really quickly - we had freak snowstorms in London (it hardly EVER snows in London) and were snowed in for most of a week. Good thing I had loads of tinned & frozen food in store or we'd have been in real trouble. We are a cul-de-sac off a secondary side road off another side road - so no grit wagons etc... When we finally got out to to the shops, it was by holding onto garden fences all the way down the road!

Happy Pink Saturday from the UK (love your little tree).

Sounds so cold where you are in Alabama. I am in the desert and it's in the 70's during the day. Have a Happy Pink Saturday, Char
