Patchwork Art

There's a cold wind blowing the bare limbs outside the window. Weather report says warming into the 50's today, but cold rain is on the way tomorrow. With that kind of news, one can only dream of Spring, knowing that Winter has found a place she likes for awhile! Books and magazines always chase my weather cares away. Over the weekend, I purchased the March issue of Romantic Homes, one of my favorite magazines. This gorgeous patchwork runner is featured on page 19. Don't the fabric squares just whisper the comfort of hot chocolate shared with a neighbor or friend? At the same time the colors scream daffodils, tulips, and tiny green buds peeping through under clear blue skies! This stitched artwork is quite a muse! Have a blessed Monday! Don't forget to scroll down and enter my One World - One Heart giveaway! (Photo from Romantic Homes, March,2010)

We still have snow on the ground and more on the way. I'm so tired of winter! Your post makes me feel more like spring with those gorgeous colors. I must go and get my copy of Romantic Homes. My very favorite magazine. ♥

I am the same way about magazines. I have them in every single room of my home. Even the kitchen, well, the office which is connected to the kitchen. I love them and have them from years ago.

Hi Summer Gypsy!
I hear you! I am SO tired of winter and all her snow. I hope Mr. Groundhog sees his shadow today. I have never longed for spring more than I am longing for it this year. I LOVE Romantic Homes. I wish it came out every two weeks!
