Happy Pink Saturday! As we watch January bid adieu this weekend, Beverly at How Sweet the Sound is once again our hostess for our weekly "love for pink" posts. Now that February is getting ready to make her grand entrance, thoughts are turning to Cupid's holiday. On that note, I took part in a vintage Valentine swap recently. One of the first questions that I asked my swap partner in our "getting to know" each other email was her favorite Valentine colors. She said that she liked red, but pink is perfectly perfect, too! Personally, I lean towards the Victorian Pinks! Something about the lacy backgrounds and feminine frocks that whisper "Be my Valentine!" While looking into my ephemera stash, here are a few February "Pinks" that I found.
Now, for a surprise! This is a special Pink Saturday! Valentine's Day brings thoughts of love and romance. Love comes in many varieties. Let's show some sisterly love!!! Beverly, our hostess for Pink Saturday, is linking up with The Katillac Shack today to help Colette, a cancer patient keep her home for her children. Colette is in treatment, and she needs love and support! All any of us need to do to help is visit Beverly at How Sweet the Sound and The Katillac Shack and leave a comment on each blog. A $1 donation for each comment will be awarded by the Design Gives Back Foundation. How simple! What fun you'll have seeing Beverly's Pink Roster for other great Pink sites to visit today! After having visited The Katillac Shack for the first time, I can tell you that it is a site to be bookmarked!
P.S. All bloggers are welcome to enter the One World - One Heart giveaway on the post below. To enter the giveaway, you must leave a comment on the One World-One Heart post and be sure that I have a blog or email address to reach you when you win!
