Belle of France!

For several months now, when I visit beautiful art blogs, one lady seems to be very popular. She is Marie Antoinette! This weekend I set to play creating a Christmas fairy button for a holiday swap. I wanted to be a bit different from the traditional, so I chose a theme based on the Belle of France's famous quote to the masses. In the spirit of Christmas, "Let them eat cake" lends itself to "Let them eat fruitcake!" I so hope that my swap partner loves Marie. This button fairy was a joy to make! Joyeux Noel!
