Though we are in the midst of showers for the next couple of days, hot temps are in the forecast again when the weekend arrives. I love popsicles during these "dog days" of summer. Being an animal lover, I look for ways to share my treats with my fur babies. Popsicles have too much sugar for them, and the store bought pet 'cicles are a bit expensive. So here is a great recipe for Homemade Frosty Paws. The ingredients are common and not "icky." Serve with lots of love! Snoopy's quote, which came with the recipe, is divine, but my fur babies don't know they are dogs! If you'd like more dog-gone delicious treat recipes, just click

Homemade Frosty Paws
1 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons peanut butter
1 ripe banana --
16 ounces plain yogurt
Mix the peanut butter, honey, and fruit together until well blended—mash with a fork or use the blender. Add the fruit mixture to the yogurt and mix well. Freeze in ice cube trays. Crack trays and release treats as needed!
Yesterday I was a dog. Today I'm a dog. Tomorrow I'll probably still be a dog. Sigh! There's so little hope for advancement. - Snoopy

Ooh, your doggies are so spoiled!
What a wonderful idea. I don't have a dog but I'll pass this onto my sis who does!! And he loves popsicles. Hehe!
