My Vintage Swap Goodies

The mailman rang the doorbell! Oh, my!!! What a package awaited me on my doorstep! It was from Laurie at Indulge Your Shelf. She and I were partners in the It's About Time Swap which was hosted by Mary at Vintage Patina. I was (and still am) totally speechless at Laurie's generosity. These are only a FEW of the items in my box of goodies. (I will be sharing more in upcoming posts, which will include vintage books/journals.) Now, I love the "paper pattern flowers." What an inspiration to try my hand at creating some. Look at the exquisite button "collage" which was handstitched by Laurie on damask. OOH LA LA! I love, love, love the antique wooden sewing machine drawer that was filled with vintage sewing items. Then, she included vintage linens and a lovely china plate!!! The framed Portulaca seed packet...so awesome!!! The top pic shows the included ephemera eye candy...to die for! The list goes on and on. Such thought and kindness was shown in every item that I received from Laurie! This was Laurie's first swap! Talk about "over the top!" Thanks so much, friend! I will treasure these gifts forever!
