Norway's Midnight Sun

My lucky daughter's job took her to Norway last week. Being Mom, I went to Flicker to check out some pics of the "midnight sun." There were so many of them. I was drawn to this one because the caption read "between ca.1890 and ca. 1900." Not being a photographer, the dates kind of confuse me with the pic. Isn't it an awesome photo from that era?
