Quite a Few Days Have Passed...

Where are the days flying off too so fast?? I have 9 wonderful packages to mail...all filled with beautiful altered tins. Each is sure to be cherished for its message and beauty. Ladies, you all deserve a Somerset award.
I have decided not to do a captions giveaway for May. Honestly, I have been so behind with finishing swaps and previous giveaways...I owe public apologies to Sherry and Jill for being so late in mailing their winnings. Is there a "blog squad?" They would surely be at my door!!!!
Do any of you overcommit??? Seems like the older I get, the later I become. In my youth, I was always early to appointments, events, etc....so early that I would be dressed 2 hours before I needed to be somewhere. Then came a child...Well, we were on time...but, NEVER early...Then came an empty nest...free from school scheduling ...AH!!! So, then I began arriving a minute or so late....NOW...it's like you can count on me to be the last one to show up!!! It's because I overcommit. So, the caption giveaway will return in June!
I hear the birds chirping. The cloudy sky has not hindered their songs. We overcommitters, late arrivers, and, procrastinating mailers can take heart from those sweet sounds. The ominous clock will not stop our muse from going wild!!!! Let her dance as she will and make magic! Let her art studio be one of chaotic creativity for a clean art desk is the signature of a timid soul.

You have really just made my heart sing because I have spent the entire week chiding myself for EXACTLY that....being an overcommitter. I always take solace in the belief that we who overcommit lead very full and rich lives. Let's just say mine can never be called dull and I suspect yours is the same. Take heart... I just appreciate all that other overcommitters contribute to this world. Hugs....

Believe me, we all over comment. Just one more swap seems so appealing and how long could it really take to do...I try to leave enough time for the muse to make up some of her own projects, but this weekend I must spend the majority of time working on swaps I am behind on! I got my altered tin yesterday and it is gorgeous beyond words. I don't have a way to contact her but my swap partner was Lesley so if you are reading this, thank you very much!
Cheers, Trish G.

Oh my gosh, I over commit all the time!! I know that time passes quickly and maybe it's a case of my eyes being bigger than my stomach...but I want to do so many things, have so many ideas that I just keep saying "yes"!! Glad to know I'm not alone!
