Frost Is On the Tulips!

This week has taken wings! Work has been a bit hectic, so no time to blog until this evening. My new azalea plants are spending the evening inside my screened porch. I had hoped to plant them soon, but the weather forecast is predicting frost tonight! I think that Easter's early arrival has given all a sense that it's time to plant. I might wait a couple of weeks now that Jack Frost is still hanging around town! I'm posting another find from last week's thrift store treasure hunt...the beautiful family photograph album. It has 6 beautifully illuminated mattes inside....The side ribbon closure just adds to its Victorian flair! Cost??? A paltry $1.99! It will be so lovely with Easter pictures of my beautiful granddaughter's second Easter egg hunt on Saturday. I saw a butterfly kite at the grocery store this afternoon. Didn't purchase it, but now I think that I will tomorrow. It has been years since I've tried to get a kite high in the sky. If our strong winds continue, we can probably add some pictures of kite flying to the album after finding all those Easter eggs! What joy my granddaughter brings! Joy from unearthing youth's memories...joy from watching her discover the wonders of God's goodness. I am so blessed!

The photo album is just lovely! I have a very similar one but wasn't lucky enough to find it for $1.99! Great buy!
Have fun with your grand daughter at her Easter Egg hunt! Aren't grand children just one of many of God's best blessings! I know mine certainly are too! They just take my breath away! Have a blessed Easter!
Hugs,
Barbara
