“Here dwell in safety,
Here dwell alone,
With a clear stream
And a mossy stone.
“Here the sun shineth
Most shadily;
Here is heard an echo
Of the far sea,
Though far off it be.”
Here dwell alone,
With a clear stream
And a mossy stone.
“Here the sun shineth
Most shadily;
Here is heard an echo
Of the far sea,
Though far off it be.”

This is so lovely, Marilyn~ I feel your robin redbreast chirping right off your blog! Delicious!
Interesting poem...
It makes me wonder what meaning the author was trying to convey, seems very open to interpretation. I'm thinking it has to do with what we desire in life.
