This is a really amazing haiku for me to see this morning. Everyday when i wake up, I look out the window and gaze for a few moments. It's like I wait for morning, sometimes literally, waiting for the early morning light to tell me it's okay to get up now. I love it.
Marilyn, I so love this image. Just yesterday I was going through some photos on the computer and found some of the kitties we had a few years ago. I had to laugh, as the two of them were up to some sort of mischief in each picture, much like your image.
Love those furry. little alarm clocks. Great haiku!
i love morning's first light... although having two cats they pretty much holler just before dawn wanting out.. maybe that's what brought the mornings to my table in an otherwise sleepy sleep...

I love it.
Peace.
i love the sweet simplicity of this.
in both word and image.
all mornings should be so pure...
Morning meows to me as soon as the light starts coming in the windows. My two "alarm clocks" let me know that it's time for me to rustle up breakfast.
Agreed! Sweet and simple and so pretty! Lovely post
The first morning light is my alarm clock too, I love how morning speaks to me too.
Thank you so much for your comments on my blog.

I like your haiku -- I had the same morning wake up -- but I LOVE the kitty image!! That inspires me like crazy!
