Perennial Pinks

Don't let the this delicate pink fool you into thinking that it's a "withering wallflower."  It is the "altribe" which is a hardy perennial.  It loves the shade, which abounds in my yard.  The flowers look like pink feathers to me, and the leaves remind me of a fern.  Its frilliness is charming, and its resilience so welcomed! Nature's pinks are the prettiest!  May you be enjoying some gardening, iced tea, and lots of shade on this Happy Pink Saturday!!!  (Photo from Better Homes and Gardens)

Wow! Altribe is beautiful and seems to be a hardy plant. I need some of that in my Texas Shady flower beds...especially if it is a perennial. Thanks for showing it in our favorite color of PINK. Happy PS...Sue

Love your background. Is that your garden in the post just below this? Awesome. Ooooh, love your comment photo thing, on your sidebar. The image. Too distracted, losing my words. Making for an interesting 'comment', right? And those pink flowers? Beautiful! ENjoyed my visit! Thanks, HappyPink Saturday. Jenn
