Summer, Childhood's Paradise

Then followed that beautiful season Summer...

Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light

And the landscape lay as if new created

Hoola hoops, bike rides, push up orange ice cream bars, kickball, tether ball, books, hammock, lake breezes, picnics, fans, telephone talk, purple thrift, fresh mown grass, garden, fireflies, sweet tea, naps, playing tag, running through fields, lemonade, Mama's sewing machine, crop tops, line dried sheets   AHHH......
Such were the sounds and sights of a vintage childhood!
