If you are an animal lover, you know that a dog's love is forever.  Not even death can break that connection.  In September, I lost my Border Collie Toby suddenly.  Last night, my beloved Suzy passed away while at the vet being treated for a broken leg.  Suzy, like Toby, was 13 years old.  Last Friday morning, she fell.    She did well throughout the weekend and until Tuesday morning.  When I visited her at the vet that day, she wouldn't eat.  As the week progressed, she stopped drinking water.  She was ready to join her buddy Toby across the Rainbow Bridge.  RIP dear fur babies.  You can now run and play forever among the flowers and the fields.  Your "mom" misses you both so much today.  Suzy, you were such a brave girl to look after me these last few months once Toby left us.  Thanks for all the licks and tail wags.  Now, run to my daddy who was your first master and be well forever with him.

So sorry

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your dear pets. It struck a chord with me as my childhood dogs were Toby, a boxer mix and Suzy, a St. Bernard. They were great friends and I remember Suzy mourning when we lost Toby. Dogs are amazing animals.
