HAPPY NEW YEAR's EVE!

...on this Happy Pink Saturday!

Off with the old, and on with the NEW YEAR!!!  The past year has brought so many changes for me and many of my friends.  Some of those changes came with unexpected perks, while some brought unwelcome challenges.  At the stroke of midnight, 2012 will lie before us.  Let us all hold fast to faith, hope, and dreams as we take the first steps of our next trip around the sun!  May the New Year bring peace to all in our hearts, homes, and countries!

Here's a delightful non-alcoholic "fizz" to welcome 2012.  This drink can be dressed down in mason jars or "fancied up" in crystal.  Serve your best quiche for "fancy" fare.   As for me, add a good movie and chocolate drizzled popcorn and we're good to go!

One 12-ounce container frozen pink lemonade concentrate-thawed
4 cups cranberry juice cocktail
4 cups club soda

Combine pink lemonade concentrate and cranberry juice cocktail in large container.  Stir in club soda just before serving!  Serve in mason jars or bring out the crystal.
Fancy it up!

Dress it down!!!  MY FAVE!

I'm Tickled Pink to invite you to visit Beverly at How Sweet the Sound to celebrate this New Year with all things PINK!  At Beverly's weekly open house, you'll find a road map to bloggers (like me) who love pink, pink, and more pink!  A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU to Beverly for hosting our pink party every Saturday for so many years now!  We love you, Beverly!  May 2012 be the best year yet for you and yours!!!!

Hello Summer Gypsie,
I saw your special pink lemonade photo on Pink Saturday and it beckoned me here. It lookd SO delicious. Would I be in the dog house if I said I think that the lemonade in the crystal is just gorgeous and would love it that way. However I'd drink it in whatever glass you offered it in. I am a new blogger of only 6 weeks and I just signed up to follow you. Is that darling little blue cottage at the top right hand corner of your blog your home? It is ADORABLE! Oh what fun it must be to live there. I would love it. Thanks for sharing your great pink lemonade recipe. I'm going to keep it and make it.

Darn -- wish I wasn't late to the pink party! Love your recipe! ... When my daughter turned 3, she chose "pink" for her birthday party theme. I discovered Publix will make pink bread, which is all my baby remembers from that party 19 years ago.
