Haiku My Heart

Tall blades felt the scythe,
and fell away to reveal
A new learning curve.

Having taken a short break from Haiku My Heart Fridays, it's good to be back. This haiku was inspired by some yard work earlier in the week.  Even a perfectly groomed lawn has a few potential weeds.  So, it is with the "best laid plans."
If an economy of words teases your mind, you'll love visiting Rebecca's blog.  She shares haiku enthusiasts' posts each Friday.  Just click here(Photo from Flickr)

This is deep countryside with high grass growing... And the angle from which you took the photo does reveal that "learning curve" (nice play on expression!). What a beautiful, beautiful location, and the bird song transports me there! (I love the bunny's wiggling ears!) Thanks for this visit! xxox
