Petal Pink Circa 1951

Petal Gown ~Circa 1951~

This dress brings out the Princess in every woman! It was designed in 1951 by Charles James, who was not necessarily interested in comfort. Some of his most beautiful gowns used 25 yards of fabric and weighed 18 pounds! However, he was noted for being a master of hiding figure flaws. Halston called him the Leonardo da Vinci of fashion. Now, that's the history lesson for today, but this gown is simply DIVINE!!
