Pink Christmas Cactus

HAPPY PINK SATURDAY!

One of my favorite plants is the Christmas cactus.  My cactus is not quite in bloom yet this week, so I am sharing a pic from the net.  The holiday cactus comes in a variety of colors including, red, purple, orange, pink, fuschia,  and cream.  It is tropical, so not a lot of care is really needed.  Do keep it away from wintry drafts though.  I was careless a couple of years ago and lost a beautiful plant that had shared its beauty for several Decembers.  What a pretty pink to have sitting on your table to welcome guests!

I love these plants as well. It still amazes me how they bloom just at the right time for the holiday. I have one and it is in full bloom.
