When I consider Your heavens,
       the work of Your fingers,
       the moon and the stars,
which You have set in place,

                  Psalm 8, Verse 3

As the oil spill continues to damage the environment on our Gulf Coast, please keep those who are suffering directly from its effects through job losses in your prayers and thoughts.  The wildlife needs your prayers as well.  The innocents of nature in the deep ocean and on sandy beaches are now covered in oil. Surely, man can now see the need to revere the majesty of nature and the welfare of all mankind with greater concern than he did before this tragedy.  I don't often use my blog as a forum for a personal cause, but this one touches my heart so deeply.  It would be remiss to let the days go by in silence as the tremendous losses mount.

I am heart sick at what is happening. It is difficult to watch it on the news! Where will it all end....or will it? God helps those who help themselves and this must be stopped and soon. We need our oceans...if there is a hurricane..what then?
