How Do I Know It's Spring?

I don't need a calendar
To know that Spring is here!

Birds chirping in the bower.
Sun shines an extra hour,

Lawn mowers start clicking!

Dogwood trees flocked with flowers,
Open panes in the towers,

Dogs go chasing frisbees!

Chimes all shimmy--left, left, right,
White clouds touch a flying kite.

Children wear ice cream beards.

I don't need a calendar
To know that Spring is here!

Your daffodils are lovely ... bright.
Your poem is beautiful, says it all.

Happy Easter!
Have a great day.

Hi, Marilyn, Just checking in with my May Day swap partner to see how things are. Spring has sprung all around here too. I love it! The sun is not out today though and it's quite chilly but the birds are still chirping away! Hope you are having a fabulous weekend. xo Lynn @ The Vintage Nest
