A Rose by Any Other Name

Happy Pink Saturday! We awoke to 7 degrees this morning! BRRR!!! Can one help but dream of Spring and pretty pink roses? "A rose by any other name is still a rose," and these roses go by pure poetry! The Dove, the Bow Belle, and the Duchesse de Montebello are all heirloom varieties. It's a great weekend for visiting favorite garden companies from your armchair. The fragrance of the roses wafts off the pages!

For more Pink Saturday posts to warm this January weekend, visit Beverly at How Sweet the Sound. Thank you, Beverly, for continuing this tradition in 2010! Beverly has an ongoing challenge for all of us who share Pink Saturday which is to "showcase" a new fellow participant in our pink post. So, for the first time, I would like to say "Welcome" to Linda at A La Carte! I just visited her lovely blog this early morning. Today, Linda is sharing a trove of pink bargains that she's found over the past few weeks. Her finds make a trip to the thrift store seem almost possible today in this icy weather!

Beautiful roses! Beautiful blog! I couldn't believe it when I came here that you have a picture of the very cottage I want my husband to build me! It has been in my folder of ideas and I just had it out the other night when we were working on the design! I will definetely be a follower of your blog! hugs,Kim

Oh those are gorgeous. I can't wait for all of mine to bloom again. I do have some blooming still but they all need a good pruning. Happy Pink Saturday, Char

I'm a day late and a dollar short☺ Was able to leave some messages for Pink Saturday yesterday and finishing up today. Over the holidays I was MIA from PS and really missed it but knew that I wouldn't be able to visit many blogs. I'm back today and must say that it feels so good to visit familiar places - like coming home again.

Today you made my little, pinkie ♥ smile. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely blog. Hoping this next week is filled with sunshine and the laughter of friends and family☺

Hi ,
thank`s for visiting me, so I could find you.

Love your pink roses,-I`m having quite a few in my garten, too.
But for now it is so very cold here in Denmark, too, so like you it has to wait with the beautifull smell of roses.
