Florida Water Cologne

You just never know what you will find while shopping online on a rainy afternoon. I visited the The Vermont Country Store after receiving their email today. I love that store! The retro Christmas decorations (including my new love for cardboard houses) which they stock are awesome. This afternoon while "window shopping," I saw in the store's "apothecary" section this amazing "be it all" Florida Cologne Water. The bottle with the pretty label caught my eye first. Then I read about the cologne's floral scent with lemon overtones. The formula has remained unchanged since 1808. This stirred my curiosity, so I checked other sites about Florida Water. Seems like it's a very versatile product. It was originally used in barber shops. I found that it can be used by men and women as a cologne because the scent is totally different on each...hmmmm...It works great to soothe insect bites. It's a skin toner and a rub for aching muscles. You can use it as a room freshener,...and the list goes on... WOW! No need for another product. It's good for showering and a soaking bath...If you'd like to see more unique products and lots of old fashioned goodness, click here. (Photo from The Vermont Country Store)

I love the Vermont Country Store too! They just started selling a long discontinued fragrance called Ben Hur that I used to love. Your last post with the dog in curlers is hilarious! I am an animal lover so I will check out that site.
Thanks!
