Quoth the Raven...

The raven display above is one of Country Living's craft ideas for Halloween. The ominous silhouettes are cut from black cardstock and placed in the glass vases. The vases can be found for a song. The patterns and complete directions are, of course, available on Country Living's site! I love that place!

The Raven
by Edgar Allan Poe

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of someone gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
" 'Tis some visitor," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door;
Only this, and nothing more.".....

We had a teacher who loved Poe and introduced us to many of his works which I came to love very much indeed! Great post, too! Have a great day!
