Monday's Thrift Store Visit!

I arrived at the thrift store at 9 a.m. on Monday!! I left at almost noon! Where does the time go when I am at my favorite "haunt?" I don't visit there as much as I did at one time. That's a good thing! Now, in the pic you see a wonderful Sark book which is all about making time for creativity!! A must have at only $2.99. Then there is the hardback copy of the color palette book. This book is wonderful because it not only gives you countless color palettes for decorating (or any artwork), but each palette is presented with a "vignette." I'll be sharing those beginning tomorrow. Price??? $2.99. Then, onto the April, 2009, edition of Southern Living. The cover is so yummy! Inside there are a couple of recipes using lemon curd that look great for the upcoming holidays. Price? 25 cents!! Finally, April was shouting to me because I found the Easter greeting cards for only 59 cents. Lots of great inspiration for ATC's, etc. in those cards. Now, my main find of the day is not showing...YET!!! I found an antique cherry magazine holder/table that is absolutely to die for! Price $6.99! That was the find of the day. It is in need of TLC. BUT, I promise to post a pic when I dress it up a bit! So I had a lovely Monday filled with shopping thrills! Have you made any runs to the thrift store lately? I'd love to hear about your find of the day!

Sounds like you do the same as me, get lost in the Thrisft Store. I love those places but haven't been lately. Our Goodwill store is my favorite.
