From Soul to Sole

With Autumn just around the corner, flip flops are relunctantly put away. Toasty, soft lady slippers are right by the bedside for the chilly mornings. The Pink Slipper Project is an effort to help women and children in shelters know the comfort of soft, warm slippers for the cool days ahead. Though I am not a seamstress, this project is still do-able. Only one seam is required for each slipper. How simple is that? Also, knitting, crochet and other needlework patterns are in the works! Won't you join us in making a pair of slippers to help a woman or child feel love and reassurance? The free and easy pattern can be downloaded by visiting the link. When you visit there, you will find many lovely pairs of slippers such as these "Pink Poodles" that have been stitched so far!!! Take a peek...then, check out your fabric stash!
