Paint Chip Table

This is the coolest!!! Perhaps, some of you have already tried this using items other than paint chips.

1. Select "paint chip samples" from the paint store. You choose the colors. One neat idea featured on HGTV was to choose seasonal shades because you can change out the chips on a whim.

2. Use scissors to snip off color name and number.

3. Place the chips on the table's top in the pattern that you like.

4. Cover with a piece of glass cut to size. Lowe's or Home Depot will be glad to help here.

Now here's my take for all of you ATC artists out there. Display your ATC collection under the glass....or any original art.

Greeting card or postcard collectors could certainly use the table to display their sentiments.

There are numerous ideas for displays!

The most expensive part of the project is the cut glass. It is a one time expense...barring any accident! The table could be converted to a different decorating scheme at any time!! (Paint Chip Table from DIY on HGTV)

Great idea for color! I have done this with photos placed under glass on my coffee table. And, it is so neat because it can be changed whenever! thank you for this optional idea. I sometimes use the paint chip colors for atc's. : ))
