Notebook Whimsy

Buying supplies for a new school year is one of my fondest childhood memories. I have been infatuated with pencils, pens, paper, and notebooks forever! With all of the decorative scrapbook papers, altered journals, etc. that are everywhere today, can we now say obsessed???? It's that time of summer when all school supplies go on sale. While shopping at WalMart yesterday, my buggy took a stroll to that aisle. This sweet notebook was waiting there. I love it! The red poppies on the front cover are ready made art!! On the back cover (no pic), the words "Whimsical Flower" appear in scroll. Look at the red, red, red inside cover! I can print it as paper for art. Well worth the $2.47! To think that it wasn't in any special stationery section...just the everyday notebooks. This is just one of the many designs. Believe me, they are all journal ready! I'm trying to decide which words will find their home on Whimsical Flower's pages. It's really difficult for me to write in a new notebook because I am a perfectionist. I want every "dotted i" and every "crossed t" to be worthy of the crisp, clean pages! Actually, no words would be needed to make a statement in this beauty! It decorates its space just by "being." Do you have a special notebook that is waiting to be the home for the "write words?"

Hello my bloggy friend! WooHoo!!! Party day is just a week away! I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone's creative spaces. I have a request... I thought it would be easier for everyone to leave comments if we all turned off comment moderation and word verification during the day (or maybe week) of the party. To do that, go to customize, settings, comments...then scroll down to turn off comment moderation and word verification.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and a fabulous week. See you next Friday!!
