Life 101

It has been almost 2 weeks since I have posted! I was so busy revamping 2 rooms, including changing the computer to a different place. Just regular life stuff. Then this past Tuesday morning, my son-in-law's paternal grandmother passed away at the age of 84. So, what I thought might be just some time off the computer for Spring cleaning turned out to be a very sad week. Grandma Faye was a wonderful lady. At her funeral Mass today, the priest shared some little known stories about her love for certain artists. SHE was an artist, a modest artist who never gave herself credit for her overflowing talent. Her paintings are so beautiful, and they will be cherished by her son, grandsons, and our precious Anna for many years to come. I'm sure that she is sitting at the picnic table where she met her husband of 50 years last Tuesday. Faye always said that she and Clarence had a pact. Whoever arrived in Heaven first would have a picnic spread waiting on the other! We are going to miss you, Faye!!! You were my casino buddy, my fellow crocheter, and a wonderful voice of wisdom for me after my own parents passed away several years ago...always the encourager!! Enjoy your picnic! Now that Life 101 has brought that looking glass back to glimpse our finite time here, I wanted to just drop in this evening to say hi to you all! I am sitting amidst two desks, four chairs, tons of books....the poster pic for the most disorganized work space in the world. I shall triumph this weekend! Focus, focus, focus. Actually, the hardest work is completed. Now just to get everything placed in the right spot! Have a great weekend!!!

So sorry to hear about Faye. She sounds like such a sweet and adorable lady. I am sure she will be missed by everyone. Her art will be her legacy to everyone who knew her.
