Easter Egg Art!

I love the pretty speckled eggs that are on display everywhere. Here are some egg coloring tips to make your own!

For tea-stained eggs, place two tea bags in a bowl of hot water. Let eggs "steep" until desired color appears!

For blue eggs, use one drop of blue and one drop of green food color to a bowl of water. You can adjust the color to your liking by adding more color!

To speckle eggs, use a toothbrush and brown craft paint!!!

These are lots of fun to make! (Photo from Southern Living)

Hi Marilyn ,
i`m guessing that beforehand you could blow out the eggs too ? i`ve never tried that these would look so much better than the plastic ones you can buy - although you can get some real looking ones out there - at a price !

Happy eatser my friend
hugs

the blue easter eggs look so cool, no pun intended. LOL guess u can pour some jelly into the eggs after colouring the outside and have it as part of the easter dinner. Have a good easter.
